That is one possibility. We can leave all the menial, dangerous, dirty jobs to the AI and machines and focus on higher level subjects like Arts, Music, Spirituality, Meditation, Yoga and so forth.
However, for such society to exist, we must be self-sufficient and self-independence. However, with today's Capital society and the high level of population, that is not yet achievable goal as we still needs jobs to make ends meet.
I think computational guys are more in trouble while experimentalists are gonna thrive to generate data
And here we are seeing ChatGPT getting ready to replace the jobs that were based on text based intelligence. Humans will soon learn what is the meaning of being a human, and it's not about being smart with the information.

As a software, and machine learning engineer, I can confirm that it is hard to design ai, and making a physical robot would be a lot harder
This guy has no idea what he is talking about. AI has already replaced thousands of jobs in almost all sectors. Manufacturing, production plants, farming, etc etc etc. Go to a factory and see how many people works there, and ask them how many people used to work there 20 years back. You will see the difference. It's great for someone who don't work to sit back and watch AI takeover but it won't be a soothing scenery for common people.

Not everyone will be able to transition over in the world of A.I. We need to tax the companies benefiting the most from A.I. to fund a Universal Income for all. Otherwise, A.I. will render many jobless.
